Ross Jackson, founder of Gaia Trust, and his wife Heather Jackson hosted a screening on their 20 hectare farm, Duemosegaard, which has been run organically for the past 14 years. Much in the spirit of The Nature of Farming, they have also created a small community around biodynamic and permacultural growth of food with a self-sustaining aim. Currently they are in the process of converting their land to agroforestry using regenerative farming practices. We were excited to show the film there and talk to the very knowledgeable audience that Ross and Heather had gathered. Just like the farms and farmers in the film, Duemosegaard is setting an important example for growing food now and in the future.
